Removing dotMac Menu

dotMac Menu is easy to remove - hold down the Apple (Command) key and drag the dotMac Menu's icon off of your menu bar and it will disappear in a poof. To fully remove dotMac Menu from your system locate where you installed it via the installer and move it to the Trash.

If you are not running any more third party menu extras you can also safely remove either of the enabling systems (MenuCracker or Menu Extra Enabler) from your computer, but be sure you are not running any non-Apple menu extras as they will no longer if the enabling system(s) are disabled or uninstalled.

Tip: To restart your menubar (useful when removing dotMac Menu) you can simply double-click the included AppleScript app called Restart Menu Extras and it will silently restart for you.

[nothing changes except it removes any extras that had been running, allowing the system to use the most up-to-date copy from your hard drive]
