iUpdates
"Check for Updates" updating

iUpdates

All Infinite Nexus products include an iUpdates menu item in the Help menu. This feature checks for a live network connection and connects to the Infinite Nexus server to automatically retrieve the latest product-related news (called the DGNet.) Instead of sending out emails and newsletters and page updates this allows you to choose when you want the news.

iUpdates - powered by XML, WebKit, and iNexus (with archives and easy viewing)

DriveGauge 3.x includes the new iUpdates v.2.1.1, an XML and WebKit-powered news mechanism. The same clean look now encompasses a collapsable area called the "Archive", a list of prior iUpdates entries that load into the viewing pane above.

The most current iUpdate loads when opened and can be reloaded by clicking on the newspaper icon at the bottom right of the iUpdates panel. The status text along the bottom keeps you informed of what the pane is currently working on as well, or has completed.

Tip: Infinite Nexus will occasionally post news relating to internal work such as new projects or major updates to other products in the iUpdates so keep checking in.
