Compare Folders Release Notes
Known Issues:
-
There is a limit on
the amount of files that Compare Folders can handle - do not compare
more than 1,200 items per individual folder at a time unless you
have sufficient memory and hard disk space.
(a 1,660 item folder compared against its duplicate took 6 minutes on a 1.33 Ghz 17" PB with 1 GB of RAM, and used approximately 580 MB of RAM and 875MB of virtual memory [which uses the hard drive])
This is something we are actively working on and developing as a continuing benchmark for Compare Folders' progress.
