iNexus : Products : Policies Support Policy: Once
your e-mail is received a support technician will reply to acknowledge
your problem and possibly provide a solution if it is immediately at
hand. Otherwise your tech will contact the development team within 24
hours and one of them will get back to you with a more detailed response. Feedback Policy: Once your e-mail is received a support technician will reply to acknowledge your feedback. Feedback on products is compiled and reviewed once a week by the development team and e-mails are sent accordingly afterwards to everyone who sent reviewed feedback. Licensing and Pricing Policy: Infinite Nexus is pleased to offer the products we have available and strive not only for quality but for fairness as well. Any product that is registered is licensed for the life of the product, although a substantial upgrade changing the functionality of the product (such as if DriveGauge added disk repairing functionality) would result in changing the licensing style (from freeware to trial-based shareware) and a corresponding price change. Similar to Apple's pro-active stance, we will release patches to software that is no longer actively supported if a critical issue (such as a data-loss, obvious crashes, or another issue, as determined by our staff) occurs. Links will be made available to 'retired' versions for customers who choose not to upgrade. Any incremental price changes (such as a migration from a $15 to $18 price point) will not result in an upgrade fee for prior registered users, only new customers. Products will not receive more than two (2) 'paid' upgrades during their lifecycle. As previously noted, prior versions will be maintained for compatibility, which means you will be assured a working product for as long as the product exists without fear of being forced to pay an upgrade simply to continue using a product. We guarantee the compatibility of our products to run on the OS they are initially released for (such as DriveGauge on Mac OS X 10.2 or Compare Folders on Mac OS X 10.3) as well as any subsequent OS releases. Features from a paid upgrade will not be integrated gratis into prior versions, only changes relating to continued OS compatibility and registration, as well as compatible changes to any iNexus feature. If changes are made to the registration system within Infinite Nexus or for a product, registered (and verifiable) customers will receive an e-mail with a non-transferable, one-time use coupon to upgrade their license for the new system, at no additional charge. Licenses are non-expiring and non-transferable and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the iNexus Store.
