CF 2.5.5 in Cold Storage!

As I recently discussed, the Cold Storage philosophy made a solid impression and I’ve put this technique to good use already. Compare Folders 2.5.5, a substantial update with lots of refinements and fixes, has meandered into the deep freeze and is taking a nap there for the next few days. If all goes well, it’ll be released near the end of the week.

Some notable features: redone demo and licensing indication, Growl copying notification [with preference for how to handle multiples], recent item checking so you’ll know when you’ve clicked an item that is no longer there [and can remove it from the menu], tab switching shortcuts, SparklePlus for updating (which will help to determine what we can support for our users), a renovated Help system, and many other tweaks and refinements.

I’m quite pleased with this release and the process leading up to it, I hope you’ll enjoy as well!
